The Beginning, North Star Farm August 2013

North Star Farm is owned and operated by Pierre and Samantha St Jacques.  Founded in the summer of 2013, with construction commencing in the fall of 2013.  North Star Farm is situated on over 28 acres of beautiful farmland in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania.  North Star Farm offers 16 luxurious box stalls, two wash stalls, indoor and outdoor riding rings and ample turn out.  Our goal is to provide an atmosphere and facility that allows every horse with us the opportunity to be a happy, healthy and successful horse.

The indoor Arena at North Star Farm is a beautiful and light riding space with a specialized base and world class footing that truly make it an excellent place to train the equine athlete.  Our base is a superior product called EcoGrid which gives stability to the base as well as providing a base that is less concussive and gives the horses a more springy step. 

For our footing, we used a silica sand and then added a wonderful fiber product that gives us the most lovely surface to ride on.  Our arena is equipped with full length, six foot high mirrors on one short side and is surrounded by beautiful windows on the three other sides of the building to create a comfortable and inviting space with very good natural light.
