Happy New Year Everyone and we wish you all good health and happiness in 2013! Pierre has been busy working and training at Rolling Stone Farm. He is really happy with all of the horses and looking forward to watching them continue to develop as he trains them. We received some really exciting news on Friday that Pierre and Lucky Tiger were invited to the Palm Beach World Dressage Masters at the end of the month! Unfortunately, due to the short notice, Pierre decided to pass his invitation on to the next horse and rider on the list. We were not planning on being in Florida this month and it was going to be too tight to get all of the preparations in place. Pierre is honored to have received this invitation none the less and is very proud of Tiger as this is his fourth consecutive invitation.

Well, I think that it is definitely safe to say that our horses got the message that they were getting a little vacation time!!!! They are all very happy and enjoying Pennsylvania.
Stirling, my wonderful Mother and I were the first of the crew to arrive in PA and we did it with Hurricane Sandy hot on our tail! After finishing a successful weekend at Chatt Hills with Jaeda where she finished 12th in the CCI**, Mom, Stirling and I headed North and Pierre and Jaeda headed back South to meet up with us later. The damage caused by Sandy postponed the moving van as well as the arrival of horses so Stirling, Mom and I had a few days to get to know the area before everyone else arrived. Mo and Jim Swanson were very kind to extend their home to us while we waited for everthing and everyone to arrive. Once horses, equipment and furniture started to arrive it was all here within 20 hours!!! Needless to say, things got a little busy! A moving van for the house, a tractor trailer with horses and then Pierre with our trailer and another four horses. Nobody's Business Horse Transportation is absolutely amazing and they are the very best in the business!!! Please go to them with any of your horse transportation needs. They were an amazing help to us and all of our horses arrived healthy and happy.
Upon arrival, Pierre had to turn around and get on a plane to MO to teach a clinic at William Woods University. The clinic was fantastic with some familiar faces and some new ones. Everyone learned a lot and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Pierre will continue to teach clinics and train riders and horses while working at Rolling Stone Farm so please feel free to contact us for more information on clinics and training.
Pierre is really enjoying working at Rolling Stone Farm and is very impressed with the quality of horses Mo and Jim Swanson are breeding. All of the stallions are very talented and Shakespeare RSF is a horse to watch for in the CDI ring soon!!!
I have all of my horses at a farm not far from Rolling Stone Farm and they are enjoying the change of scenery. We have a full cross country course where we are so all of my young horses are getting some great experience and cross country miles! I am working to build up clients in the Lehigh area and am currently taking on new students and horses in training. Please call me to find out more information about training and all referals are greatly appreciated.
Above is a photo of the Cross Country Course
Happy riding to everyone and I hope to meet many new faces in the Pennsylvania area soon!
Best Wishes and Happy Thanksgiving,

Pierre and Lucky Tiger were amazing at Devon this year! Devon is such a special show with so much history associated with the grounds. Walking through the historic barns and around the trade fair to the Dixon Oval just feels so special, you can feel the greatness that has happened at this very place.
Pierre and Lucky Tiger placed second in both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle with a 70.75% and 73.6%. Their amazing partnership was magically again as they dazzled the crowd with their grace and power. We are so proud of Tiger for what a wonderful horse he is and continues to be.
Lucky Tiger will now enjoy some down time with relaxing hacking and trail riding as we prepare for the next chapter of our lives. Pierre has been offered an amazing opportunity to become the head trainer for Mo Swanson at her Rolling Stone Farm in Slatington, PA. We are in the process of relocating and should be up to Pennsylvania by early November. Pierre will be riding some of the many wonderful horses that Rolling Stone Farm has breed and raised including the up and coming stallion, Shakespeare RSF.
We are really excited for all of the wonderful things that are happening in our lives right now and we encourage you to keep following us as we step off into this new adventure!

Summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye and I am amazed that we are already gearing up for the fall! We had a great summer with lots of horse show, clinics, and fun in the sun!
Jaeda had a wonderful summer with outings at Full Gallop Farm Horse Trials and then on to the American Eventing Championships. Jaeda competed in the Preliminary at FGF Horse Trials and did a lovely dressage test along with clear cross country and show jumping rounds to earn the blue ribbon! Jaeda won her division of Prelim as well as winning the best off the track Thoroughbred for all four divisions of Prelim!
Jaeda's next show was the American Eventing Championships.......and she was amazing!!! This time we were competing at the Intermediate level and she showed everyone what a talented horse she is! She had another lovely dressage test to score a 33. She then went clear cross country but just a little slow over a very challenging track! We had a spectacular third day of competition with a double clear show jump round over a very large and technical 1.20 meter course! I am so proud of Jaeda and so very impressed with the amount of heart she has and the amount that she tries every single time. Horses like this really make you appreciate what an animal is willing to do for us, it is incredible.
Jaeda and Samantha dressage at the American Eventing Championships
Annie and Livewire had a pretty amazing summer as well as you may have already heard. In July the pair went up to Virginia for the National Pony Club Championships being held at the Virginia Horse Center. Annie and Livewire absolutely took the competition by storm and had a fabulous time winning everything there was to win! Annie and Livewire won the equitation round as well as overall National Champion. This was there first time competing at 3'6'' + and they jumped six out of six clear rounds which won them another trophy as well! Annie and Livewire helped their team win the best team award as well as the overall horsemanagement award! I love that Pony Club not only expects you to be able to ride well and correctly but also expects you to have excellent horsemanship skills! This is such an accomplishment and we are so proud of Annie and Livewire, good job!!!!!!!!

Pierre and Lucky Tiger are off to Devon at the end of September so make sure to check back soon to find out all about our upcoming fall season! Until next time, happy trails

The 2012 Festival of Champions and Olympic Selection Trials were a wonderful experience and very exciting! Pierre and Lucky Tiger really put their best foot forward and gave those trials everything they had. Tiger is simply amazing. He knows his job so well and is such a workmanlike competitor. Pierre is the same. Pierre and Tiger had two personal best scores in a CDI at these trials. They scored a 69.999% in the Grand Prix Special and a 71.34% in the Grand Prix to finish eighth overall.
Riding at a major competition in which the stakes are high, brings out not only the skill and training of an athlete but also their mental toughness. Everyone at an Olympic Trials, in any sport or discipline, is vying for a very small number of coveted spots. People spend lifetimes, particularly in Olympic Equestrian Sports, dedicating themselves to making their National Olympic Teams. It is an immense honor to make the team but it should never be forgotten what an honor, priviledge and accomplishment it is to be amoung the group of athletes that have made it to the level of competition in which you are one of the athletes being choosen from.
I am always amazed by this level of competition, in any sport. The Olympics roll around after hiding for four years and suddenly we are hearing names of athletes that we would not normally hear a word about. Not only are we hearing their names but we are getting excited for them and hoping all of there dreams come true. I would not normally pay attention to track events but now I am amazed that the Women's 100m sprint did not have a rule in place in event of a tie for third. I am now fascinated by Dara Torres and what an athlete she is. There are so many other athletes that suddenly become showcased around the time of the Olympics and we get to realize what amazing role models we have that have dedicated and committed themselves to something very special.
Every single person that has pointed themselves on this path of dedication, committment, hard work, sacrifice, determination and so many other things is amazing and a hero. I hope every Olympic hopeful remembers how special you are and that you are amazing regardless of whether or not you made the team. It reallly is the journey to the Olympics that defines you as an athlete as much as competing at the Olympics so remember to keep your head high and know that your journey isn't done yet, there is another Olympics hiding four years around the corner
Good luck to every Olympian at the London 2012 Olympics!!!!!

Pierre and Lucky Tiger looked fantastic as they brought home a win in the Freestyle at the Kentucky Dressage Association CDI3* on May 26, 2012. Their win in the Grand Prix Freestyle followed a second place finish in the Grand Prix the day before. Pierre and Lucky Tiger won the Grand Prix Freestyle with a 71.15% and earned a 68.7% in the Grand Prix. This was their preparatory show before the US Olympic Selection Trials which are being held in Gladstone, NJ on June 8-10 and 15-17, 2012. Pierre and Lucky Tiger have earned themselves an invitation to the selection trials and will compete against the best in the country for one of the three spots on the US Dressage Olympic Team.

We have so much exciting news this spring but some of our most exciting news is Pierre and Lucky Tiger won the Grand Prix Special at the Global Dressage Festival CDI5*!!! It was absolutely thrilling! Pierre and Tiger have such an amazing partnership and it was wonderful to see them have such great success together. This was their third CDI5* and they showed what a confirmed and experienced pair they are at this competition. Lucky Tiger is now gearing up for the CDI in Kentucky at the end of May and then on to Gladstone for the Festival of Champions and Olympic Selection Trials!
Jaeda and I had a wonderful finish to a winter and spring season with a fourth place finish at the Ocala Horse Properties CCI*. Jaeda was very good in all three phases. She started the weekend off with a good dressage test that earned us a 52.5 and she was able to finish on that score with double clear performances in both the cross country and show jumping phases. We were competing in a very big and competitive class of over fifty horses so I am very proud of this accomplishment. Jaeda is such a great horse and has such much natural talent along with an absolutely huge work ethic!
Annie and Toddy are having a lot of fun together and most recently they had a great showing at the Sunshine Region Pony Club Show Jumping Rally. They won the equitation class, pick your line and they won the jump off class!!! This was a great accomplishment and I am so proud of Annie and Toddy for doing so well and winning all three of the classes that they entered!!! They are now qualified for Nationals both in eventing and show jumping!
Delinda is a wonderful recent addition to our stable and we are thrilled to be offering her for sale. She is a five year old mare by Donarweiss that is absolutely delightful! She will be a wonderful dressage horse or eventer. She recently did her first horse trial and won it! She is so kind and sensible that she will be an excellent junior, young rider or amateur horse. She has a wonderful jump with a great hind leg and three super gaits that will make her excel in the dressage ring.
Branca Leao is making leaps and bounds in his training and is continuing to impress us every day! He has begun schooling the flying changes and half passes and is learning them quickly. He is such a smart horse with such a calm demeanor. For anyone that loves the Lusitano breed, you need to see this horse! He is going to make someone a wonderful horse that will be very competitive through the FEI levels in dressage.
We have several other new additions to our stable so make sure to check back soon to find out what everyone is up to. We will be travelling a lot in the near future so look for us at the upcoming shows. If you are in Lexington, KY at the end of May, make sure to go to the horse park to say hi to Pierre and Tiger and watch the CDI! We will then be in Gladstone in June and look forward to seeing all of our friends in the Northeast!
Happy riding and have fun!

What an amazing time this is! We are having so much fun working with so many great horses and people! All of our horses and our students and their horses are having a great show season so far!
Pierre and Lucky Tiger have had a good year so far. Lucky Tiger is training better and better and his best is yet to come (which is pretty exciting as he is already spectacular!!!!!). This pair started off the year with a couple of wins at the Blue Hors Invitational and a Reserve Championship in the Grand Prix Final! The Palm Beach World Dressage Masters CDI**** was two weeks later and Pierre and Tiger earned an invitation and put in two solid tests in the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special to finish fourth in the Special. Pierre and Lucky Tiger competed next at the Wellington Classic Dressage Spring Challenge where they finished fourth in the Grand Prix! The Palm Beach Derby was next and Pierre and Tiger finished fourth again in the Grand Prix Special.
Donnatelli is such an exciting horse for the future and he is just starting to show everyone what a shining star he is! He did his first Prix St Georges in December and won the class with a lovely test. His wonderful temperment, super talent and excellent training was really showcased as he won the class and he has continued to show all of these wonderful attributes as the winter has progressed. Donnatelli's next show was the Blue Hors Invitational. Donnatelli was third in the Prix St Georges with a 71% and he won the Intermediare 1! This horse is spectacular. He is so talented he could be a super horse for a professional and is safe and honest enough that he could easily be an amateur horse. He is doing all of the Grand Prix movements and is really ready to start showing off! Donnatelli is offered for sale, if you are looking for that special horse please contact us to find out more about him.
One of the best parts of our year so far has been getting to meet Madison Lawson and her Mom, Natalie. These are two of the best people I have ever met and I am so thrilled to have been able to spend time with them this year. Madison is on an incredible journey to represent Canada at the Para Olympics this summer with her horse, McGuire and she has spent some time training with Pierre this winter. Madison is a beautiful rider that works hard, always has a smile on her face and is an absolute pleasure to be with. Madison has not only taken on the challenge of qualifing and being selected for the Para Olympics this summer, she is now working towards also qualifing and being selected for the FEI NAJYRC's this summer! Madison's Mom, Natalie, is the most supportive cheerleader ever and is an absolute inspiration. To get the opportunity to be with this pair has been so special. We are cheering for this pair from the bottom of our hearts and we hope that every single one of their dreams come true.
Jaeda and I have had a really fun year so far. We have done three intermediates now this year and we are qualified for a CIC**. Jaeda is getting better and better all the time and is a really lovely horse. She really impressed me with how easily she stepped up to the intermediate level and is proving what a good upper level horse she is going to be. She is so good cross country and just tries and tries in all three phases. She is very workmanlike in the dressage and just keeps jumping higher and higher in the show jumping! Keep watching her in the future, she is going to be great!
One of the absolute joys for me right now is getting to watch and coach Livewire and Annie as they form a bond and go out competing. Annie is on a huge learning curve and she is working her butt off to keep getting better and better every day. Livewire, aka Toddy, has a huge smile on his face every day and is loving his job with Annie! Annie competed in her first training ever last weekend at Rocking Horse 3 HT. Her and Toddy placed fourth and finished on their dressage score!!!! They were both beaming when they crossed the finish line after cross country and my legs were getting weak from a combination of sprinting the cross country course behind them and extreme excitement! I am so happy to see this pair having so much fun together!
Branca Leao had a great first show with Pierre and they won the high point Lusitano at the Wellington Classic Dressage Show! Branca Leao is a beautiful seven year old Lusitano stallion that we have offered for sale. He is so smart and is absolutely gorgeous! Please go to our sales page to find out more about him. If you are interested in getting more information about him, please give us a call.
We would like to say a huge congratulation to Amy on her purchase of Wallenstien. We are so excited for this pair! Wallenstien is going to the best possible home a horse could hope for and Amy has the sweetest schoolmaster ever! Good luck to both of you and we will be watching and cheering!
All of the other horses are doing great! The young horses are getting stronger, fitter and smarter and will soon be out competing. Millie, the super pony, is fantastic and is doing beautiful flying changes! Millie just started learning them a month ago and being the smart little connemara that she is, she has already figured them out beautifully!
All of our other students are having great seasons as well and we are so thankful that they have choosen to work and train with us. We hope everyone continues to have alot of fun and success training and showing!

What an amazing summer and fall it has been!!!! Our beautiful boy has completely captured our hearts and we are having soooo much fun with him! We are also having a ton of fun with all of our horses and students, especially as the weather is getting better and better. We have been to two horse trials in November and they both were great. Jaeda is back in action with me back in the competition ring! It has been great to be showing and competing again. Jaeda finished off this year without missing a beat and placed fourth in the open prelim at Rocking Horse HT and third in the open prelim at the Florida Horse Park. So many students did so well this fall as well! Cathy and Special did their first (of many to come!) training three day! They were fantastic and finished on there dressage score and placed second, way to go!!!!! Jordan had a great ride with her super pony to place well in the novice and Jill and Casey rounded out the weekend to both place in the top three in the training. Jill and Casey both made the upgrade to Prelim at the FHP the next weekend look like a piece of cake by placing first and second in their division!!!! Ribbon is a lovely new horse that we have in the barn and she will be making her deput at a horse trial in the near future, so watch for her! We have several other horses coming along that we are really excited about so make sure to watch for all of them in the near future! We hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving with there families and friends and we hope you continue to enjoy this holiday season!

Our beautiful baby boy has arrived! Pierre and I welcomed Stirling Keaton St Jacques into the world at 11:23pm on June 30, 2011. We feel so blessed and lucky to be parents and to be stepping into this new adventure with the newest member of our family. We are happily home and enjoying settling into life as three and I have to say it is a blast. This little man is less than a week old and has already brought such joy and love to us. We are so thankful to all of the people that have sent us such incredibly warm and loving messages and we are forever grateful to all of the people that took care of everything at home while we were away at the hospital. Thank you to everyone for all of your help with the dogs, horses, cat and every other aspect of our lives that you took care of for a few days. We are forever appreciative.
