Pierre and Samantha St Jacques are a husband and wife team that compete in the USEF Equestrian disciplines of Dressage, Show Jumping, and Three Day Eventing. Together they operate a training and sales business in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. Together they help to bring both horses and riders to their fullest potential. Both Pierre and Samantha compete at the international level and have represented their nations at Olympic Games, Pan American Games and many countries all over the world. Pierre St Jacques was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. He became a US citizen in 1999 and has represented the USA at numerous international competitions. Pierre has over thirty years experience training dressage horses and riders. Pierre and his longtime partner, Lucky Tiger, were members of the Gold Medal Winning US Dressage Team at the 2003 Pan American Games as well as being short listed for the 2010 World Equestrian Games and the 2012 Olympic Games. Pierre and Lucky Tiger had great success competing at the Grand Prix level for nearly a decade, including 2009 National Grand Prix Reserve Champions at the Festival of Champions in Gladstone, NJ. Also in 2009 Pierre and Lucky Tiger won the Lamplight CDI, were second at the Raleigh CDI and placed second in the Grand Prix for the Special at Devon. In 2010 Pierre and Lucky Tiger competed at the Exquis World Dressage Masters and placed eighth against some of the best horses and riders in the world. In 2012, Pierre and Lucky Tiger had numerous top placings at the Grand Prix level including second in the Freestyle of Devon. Pierre, a USDF Gold Medalist, is an excellent trainer and brings out the best in every horse that he works with. Pierre has the ability to work with all types and temperaments of horses ranging from the beginning stages with a young horse all the way to the most advanced stages required of the Grand Prix horses.
Samantha St Jacques was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Samantha achieved her “A” level in pony club and successfully competed through her young rider years, placing fifth at the NAYRC in 2003. Samantha was first named to the Canadian Eventing Team Long List in 2003 with Oslek. Samantha went on to start competing at the Advanced Level in 2005 and in 2006 was the highest placed Canadian at the Jersey Fresh CCI*** with Livewire, placing seventh. In 2007, Samantha and Livewire were named alternates for the Pan American Games. In the fall of 2007 they went on to be the highest placed Canadians at the Wit’s End World Cup Qualifier and place tenth at the Fairhill CCI*** in Elkton, MD. In 2008, Samantha and Livewire were named to the Canadian Olympic Team and represented the Canadian Eventing Team at the Beijing Olympic Games. Samantha has also competed through the Prix St Georges level in dressage and is a USDF Silver Medalist.
